Job summary

Wanco Inc. is an industrial manufacturer seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of the assembly staff and process for multiple assembly cells, supporting the build schedule, safety, quality, 5S, and compliance requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of lean manufacturing and ISO 9001 standards, and the ability to read engineering drawings. You will manage production, coach staff, and ensure adherence to quality and safety

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in production/manufacturing.
• Associates degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Production oversight: monitor processes and targets, resolve production problems.
• Team management: lead, coach staff; train new employees and manage performance.
• Quality control: monitor product quality to standards and specifications.
• Safety compliance: enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Problem solving: identify and address production issues, implement solutions, and improve efficiency.
• Documentation: maintain production data and employee performance records.
• Reducing waste: identify target areas and reduce waste, improve cycle time and output.
• Communication and coordination: collaborate with engineering and management to smooth workflows.
