Job summary

Toyoda Gosei Americas is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor to lead the assembly team, ensure proper assembly of injection‑molded parts, and prepare them for painting or coating.

You will drive efficient operations to meet production schedules, monitor daily workflow, allocate resources, and promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, QA, and Shipping for smooth transitions and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with assembly operations and injection-molded products preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and safety regulations.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the assembly team, ensuring proper assembly of injection-molded parts and preparation for painting or coating.
• Ensure assembly operations run efficiently and meet production schedules.
• Monitor daily workflow and allocate resources to achieve production objectives.
• Maintain and enforce quality control throughout the assembly operation.
• Ensure parts meet specifications before progressing to painting or coating.
• Address quality concerns with the Quality Assurance team.
• Promote safety in the assembly department and enforce standards.
• Collaborate with Production Planning, Engineering, Quality Control, and Logistics.
• Monitor KPIs: throughput, quality, scrap, downtime, productivity, on-time delivery.
