Job summary

Pens.com in Tennessee seeks an Assembly / Inkers Working Lead to supervise daily assembly and Inkers operators, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety rules are met. You will report metrics, promote teamwork, and drive efficiency on the production floor.

You will monitor KPI performance, manage schedules, and maintain a clean, orderly work area while coordinating with the Molding Manager. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years as a senior or skilled assembler preferred.
• Basic computer and spreadsheet skills.
• Understanding of KPI tracking and order management.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Flexibility, discipline, and a strong sense of integrity.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assembly / Inkers operators, material handlers, during daily production.
• Verify that all process conditions and quality standards are being met.
• Ensure assembled products meet defined specifications and are free of defects.
• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and order within the team.
• Prepare manufacturing reports and communicate progress to Manager.
• Ensure work orders are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Promote teamwork, engagement, and accountability among team members.
• Present performance indicators and manage key metrics (KPI) for the assigned area.
• Track attendance and coordinate workgroup scheduling.
• Any other duties as assigned by management
