Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise assembly / Inkers operators and material handlers during daily production.
  • Verify that process conditions and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure assembled products meet defined specifications and are free of defects.
  • Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and order within the team.
  • Prepare manufacturing reports and communicate progress to Manager.
  • Ensure work orders are completed on time and according to specifications.
  • Promote teamwork, engagement, and accountability among team members.
  • Present performance indicators and manage KPI for the area.
  • Track attendance and coordinate workgroup scheduling.

JOB TITLE: Assembly / Inkers Working Lead
Reports to: Molding Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Assembly / Inkers Lead is responsible for managing and supervising the daily activities of assembly and Inkers operators to ensure that production, quality, and safety standards are met. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow efficiency, reporting manufacturing metrics, and promoting teamwork on the production floor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Supervise assembly / Inkers operators, material handlers, during daily production.
  • Verify that all process conditions and quality standards are being met.
  • Ensure assembled products meet defined specifications and are free of defects.
  • Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and order within the team.
  • Prepare manufacturing reports and communicate progress to Manager.
  • Ensure work orders are completed on time and according to specifications.
  • Promote teamwork, engagement, and accountability among team members.
  • Present performance indicators and manage key metrics (KPI) for the assigned area.
  • Track attendance and coordinate workgroup scheduling.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION / SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years as a senior or skilled assembler preferred.
  • Basic computer and spreadsheet skills.
  • Understanding of KPI tracking and order management.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Flexibility, discipline, and a strong sense of integrity.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
