Job summary

National Pen is seeking an Assembly / Inkers Working Lead in Tennessee to supervise daily production of assembly and Inkers operators, ensuring safety, quality, and timely work orders. The role emphasizes strong leadership and clear communication to drive efficiency on the production floor.

You will report to the Molding Manager, manage KPI metrics, and promote teamwork while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and accurate manufacturing reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years as a senior or skilled assembler preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assembly / Inkers operators and material handlers during daily production.
• Verify that process conditions and quality standards are met.
• Ensure assembled products meet defined specifications and are free of defects.
• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and order within the team.
• Prepare manufacturing reports and communicate progress to Manager.
• Ensure work orders are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Promote teamwork, engagement, and accountability among team members.
• Present performance indicators and manage KPI for the area.
• Track attendance and coordinate workgroup scheduling.
