Job summary

Simon, a Colas USA subsidiary, is seeking an experienced plant operator to oversee the safe and efficient operation of fixed or mobile asphalt plants in Wyoming. You will manage production, quality control, maintenance coordination, and daily plant operations, while supporting safety programs and customer service.

The role requires 3+ years in asphalt operations, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license; a commercial license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt operations or construction is preferred.
• Strong communication with customers.
• Self-directed and motivated.
• Ability to lead and mentor others.
• Strong prioritization and problem solving under deadlines.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient plant operations.
• Support safety initiatives and policies.
• Enter data, handle dispatch, produce reports.
• Coordinate and ensure orders and material mixes.
• Maintain records and daily production reports.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
