You will lead a small crew, coordinate with foreman and dispatch, and ensure quality hot mix asphalt production while maintaining equipment and supplies. Responsibilities include following production schedules, monitoring processes, performing maintenance, and documenting safety and production data in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating asphalt plants and ensuring quality control.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in asphalt production.
• Basic computer and software literacy.

Responsibilities

• Reports to and coordinates with the Asphalt Plant Foreman to supervise plant activities.
• Participate and document daily safety meetings.
• Support plant team to enhance skills and performance.
• Use production schedules to ensure timely and efficient asphalt production.
• Monitor production processes and optimize performance and output.
• Enforce quality control procedures for hot mix asphalt.
• Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate with maintenance.
• Address safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Perform hands-on maintenance and coordinate outside contractors.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain records.
