Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of experience in asphalt paving.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of an asphalt production plant.
• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
• Coordinate day-to-day work environment and staff to meet targets.
• Support safety initiatives and employee development.
• Assist with training and coaching of employees.
• Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Communicate professionally by phone and radio.
• Establish production schedules to meet supply and delivery needs.
• Enter data, prepare reports, and manage schedules in the computer system.
• Batch and inspect loads to ensure consistency.
• Coordinate scheduling of plant equipment maintenance.
• Order and maintain inventory of raw materials.
• Safely operate company equipment and vehicles as needed.
