Russell Standard seeks a Plant Operator to support day-to-day production in an asphalt emulsions facility. The role involves operating equipment, transferring product, and performing preventative maintenance in an outdoor plant environment.

You will work with lab and sales personnel, handle weigh/load tasks, and adhere to safety policies while contributing to reliable, efficient operations. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong math and reading skills and the ability to understand technical manuals.
• At least 2 years production/maintenance experience or oil and gas industry experience or completion of mechanical/industrial trade school program.
• Aptitude for learning new tasks and skills.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes valves for product transfers.
• Performs general preventative maintenance of pump and valve systems.
• Operates equipment in the plant.
• Inspects tanks periodically.
• Troubleshoots mechanics of plant systems.
• Weighs trucks, pre- and post-loading.
• Loads emulsion trucks.
• Perform general labor as needed.
• Follows all safety policies and practices.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
