Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road, a division of Austin Bridge & Road, is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to lead a heavy civil paving project in the North Phoenix, Arizona area. This on-site role requires managing daily field operations, ensuring quality and safety, and coordinating with project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of heavy civil paving experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with construction management tools.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with asphalt paving focus.
Proven leadership in managing paving crews and subcontractors on roadway projects.
Experience with construction management software and daily reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day field operations for asphalt paving projects.
Enforce safety protocols and conduct hazard assessments.
Plan site logistics with the Project Manager (paving sequences, equipment staging, traffic control).
Develop and manage daily/weekly paving schedules for crews and equipment.
Monitor placement, finishing, curing, and ensure specs compliance.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely delivery.
