Job summary

AmpThink in Orlando, FL seeks a senior network operations engineer to own the technical aspects of operations at the Kia Center and Camping World Stadium. You’ll work with our team of architects, field engineers, and project managers to maintain complex arena networks.

Travel up to 25%, collaboration with Orlando Venues, and responsibility for network design, documentation, and deployment across arena facilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of work experience in a technology-based business or engineering firm.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; technical/IT or engineering degree accepted.
• CCNP Certification or equivalent knowledge of Cisco systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire IT lifecycle including BOM development, component implementation, building-system integration, maintenance, and network strategy for the arena and adjacent parking structure.
• Maintain and operate a network of telecommunications rooms and pedestals connected to a small data center built on a multi-layer Cisco network.
• Document sub-contractor and 3rd party networking requirements; develop high and low level network design documents.
• Support arena IT initiatives by provisioning and optimizing the network for each application.
• Participate in arena support and manage help desk tickets for the networking team.
