Job summary

AmpThink is seeking a hands-on technologist to own the technical operations of Kia Center and Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL. You will lead a team without formal people-management authority, coordinating priorities, and serving as the primary technical liaison during live events.

You'll manage server, virtualization, storage, and network infrastructure, interacting with architects, field engineers, and project managers. Travel approx. 25% of time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering servers and systems infrastructure (virtualization, storage, or enterprise compute).
• Bachelor's degree in IT/engineering preferred.
• Experience with VMware, Nutanix or Hyper-V and Windows/Linux servers.
• Cisco networking knowledge; CCNA-level recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical direction of the Orlando infrastructure team and coordinate priorities.
• Communicate with venue stakeholders on all technical matters affecting network, systems, and readiness.
• Own the full systems lifecycle at the venue: servers, storage, network, and building system integration.
• Administer and maintain compute and virtualization environments and on-site data center networking.
• Provision and troubleshoot servers supporting arena applications (ticketing, POS, IPTV, etc.).
• Contribute to BOMs and strategy for arena and adjacent parking structures.
• Produce technical documentation for systems and networking designs.
• Support venue IT initiatives by provisioning and optimizing infrastructure.
