Job summary

AmpThink is seeking a hands-on technologist based at the Kia Center in Orlando, FL to own the technical operations of two major venues: Kia Center and Camping World Stadium. You will lead the Orlando infrastructure team, coordinate priorities, and serve as the primary technical liaison for stakeholders during live events.

The role covers server, virtualization, storage, network, and venue building systems, with travel ~25% for external projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering servers and systems infrastructure (virtualization, storage, or compute environments).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise virtualization platforms and server OS (Windows/Linux).
• Solid Cisco networking knowledge; CCNP a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical direction of the Orlando infrastructure team and coordinate priorities.
• Serve as lead communicator with venue stakeholders on network, systems, and event readiness.
• Own the full systems lifecycle: server, virtualization, storage, network, and building integrations.
• Administer compute and virtualization environment and multi-layer Cisco network in data center.
• Provision, patch, and troubleshoot servers for arena applications (tickets, POS, IPTV, Wi‑Fi).
• Participate in BOMs and technical planning for arena initiatives and parking structure.
• Produce architecture and network design docs and third-party requirements.
• Support arena IT initiatives by provisioning infrastructure for each application.
• Manage on-site help desk tickets with root-cause resolution focus.
• Act as primary technical liaison during live events with stakeholders and vendors.
