Job summary

Veterans Roofing in Northfield, NJ is seeking a Lead Setter who will be the first voice homeowners hear after they reach out. You will call warm inbound leads, schedule free inspections, and nurture opportunities to set appointments for Outside Sales Representatives.

You will be trained on products, processes, and AccuLynx; bring energy, reliability, and a drive to turn conversations into pipeline with weekly pay and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Excellent phone presence and warm tone.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening.
• Comfortable 60–100 outbound dials per day and handling objections.
• Highly organized with clean notes and follow-ups.
• Familiarity with CRM software (AccuLynx) and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Call warm inbound leads and book inspection appointments for Outside Sales.
• Follow up with homeowners to confirm interest and schedule times.
• Re-engage older leads and dormant opportunities to recover pipeline.
• Qualify homeowners: project type, timeline, decision-makers, insurance.
• Handle objections and close for the appointment, not the sale.
• Confirm appointments 24–48 hours ahead and rebook as needed.
• Hit daily/weekly appointment-set goals and maintain notes in AccuLynx.
• Coordinate with sales on scheduling, territory, and lead handoff.
• Explain value proposition clearly: veteran-owned, free inspection, no obligation.
