Groundswell Corporation is seeking an experienced AI/ML software engineer to own capabilities end to end, from discovery to production and operation after release. You will balance client delivery, internal product work, rapid proofs of concept, and enablement, collaborating with engineers, executives, and end users.

You will define requirements, design approaches, select AI patterns, and ensure measurable success with clear documentation and governance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years shipping production software.
• 1+ year hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs).
• Own a capability end-to-end from ambiguity to production.
• Experience evaluating AI system quality with metrics and tests.
• Strong programming in Python/TypeScript/SQL across the full stack.
• Able to translate stakeholder needs into technical approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements conversations with business and technical stakeholders.
• Define the technical approach and defend it.
• Select the AI pattern appropriate to the problem (extraction, classification, summarization, retrieval, agentic workflow).
• Define measurable success criteria (accuracy, human review thresholds, acceptance conditions).
• Build complete capability (prompt design, retrieval, APIs, data handling, UI).
• Provide documentation and governance for deployment and operation.
