Groundswell is seeking an AI-enabled software engineer who can own business problems from discovery to production. You will define technical approaches, select AI patterns, and deliver complete capabilities with prompts, retrieval design, tools, APIs, and user interfaces.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and shipping production software.
• Hands-on experience with LLM integration including prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Ability to own a capability end to end from ambiguous reqs to production.
• Experience evaluating AI system quality with metrics and evidence.
• Strong programming ability in Python/TypeScript/SQL across full app stack.
• Proven ability to lead discussions with non-technical stakeholders and translate to technical approach.
• Excellent written communication for client-facing docs and rationale.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
