Job summary

VB Spine, LLC is seeking an experienced IT Applications Manager to lead the lifecycle of the global functional application portfolio across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and HR, focusing on SaaS solutions. You will evaluate, select, and implement new applications, rationalize the portfolio, and drive value through improved usability and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or related disciplines are strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in business applications, IT business analytics, or related role.
• Experience operating in regulated environments (medical device or life sciences strongly preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated success in leading technology transformations during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the global functional application portfolio across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and HR (primarily SaaS apps).
• Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of new applications, including requirements gathering, vendor assessment, and solution design.
• Define and execute application rationalization strategies to reduce complexity and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement of the application portfolio to enhance usability, performance, and business value.
• Lead decommissioning of legacy applications, including data migration and user communications.
• Partner with IT and vendors on integrations (APIs, data integrations, SSO, etc.).
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution across teams.
• Own application configuration, user administration, and governance across platforms.
• Manage SDLC processes for applications including build/configuration, testing, deployment, enhancement, release management, and ongoing optimization.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing stability of integrations and system enhancements.
