Cadence Design Systems, Inc. in Austin seeks a Principal Application Engineer to drive pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Digital Implementation and Signoff tools.

You will partner with sales to deliver workshops, benchmarks and product demonstrations that illustrate Cadence flows across synthesis, place & route, and timing, physical, and power signoff. You will present capabilities, drive technical campaigns, and work with R&D to improve tooling, while supporting customers

Formación

• Minimum BS-EE with 8–10 years experience or MS-EE with 6–8 years experience
• Digital Design Fundamentals and Static Timing Analysis (STA) required
• Experience with ASIC digital implementation flows and tools
• Scripting knowledge: TCL/Perl/Python; strong customer-facing communication

Responsabilidades

• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Cadence Digital Implementation and Signoff tools
• Present technical capabilities to customers and support sales campaigns
• Support evaluations/benchmarks and drive tool-based Cadence solutions implementations
• Travel up to 20% as required and collaborate with R&D on methodology improvements
