A day in the life.
As a Lead Application Developer on the MMA Application Development team, you’ll head a team of developers in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications. These applications are vital to the success of the organization and add value to our client’s experience. You will mentor and teach other developers, promote MMA (Marsh & McLennan Agency) technology standards, and oversee the software development life cycle. Through servant-style leadership, you will manage a team capable of handling complex projects and delivering high-quality products.

We’d love to meet you if your professional experience includes:
o Complex software product delivery in an Agile environment.
o Building distributed systems at scale with microservices architecture.
o Object-oriented programming using languages such as C#, .NET, Blazor, IIS, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
o API Management systems like Apigee and Informatica, REST API design and implementation.
o Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
o Container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
o Continuous integration, build and test automation (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory).
o Code reuse strategies for faster time-to-market, scalability, and consistency.
o Monitoring system performance and recommending improvements.
o Managing user stories, backlogs, and sprints within an Agile/Scrum framework.
