The Autodesk Global Consulting Delivery team is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our Americas Consulting team as a Principal Consultant. As a key member of the Consulting Delivery team within Autodesk's Enterprise Customer Success organization, the successful candidate has experience defining and deploying innovative strategies and solutions to leverage digital design and delivery as a competitive advantage, leading transformational change at the enterprise level, and building stronger, more effective organizations.
Key Focus Areas for Principal Consultants for Infrastructure:
- Working with Autodesk's largest customers to define innovative Infrastructure design, engineering, construction, and management strategies and solutions to ensure the greatest possible value from their Autodesk investment.
- Collaborating with Autodesk account teams to define customer outcomes, strategies, solutions, and engagement plans to achieve those outcomes.
- Partnering with the Autodesk Consulting Project Management team to ensure exceptional delivery aligned with the Customers Success Plan.
- Shaping Autodesk Consulting service offerings and delivery methods.
- Engaging with thought leaders within and outside Autodesk to support and influence product development.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted business partner to customers and internal teams.
- Develop and deliver innovative business and technology solutions with strategic impact.
- Lead workshops with customers to identify opportunities and align on solutions.
- Create high-quality civil engineering design, construction, and operational deliverables.
- Define and measure the value of solutions delivered and document the impact of investments.
- Contribute to the development of new and expanded consulting offerings.
- Build Autodesk Consulting's brand through thought leadership, including presentations, publications, and industry engagement.
- Lead project delivery efforts, ensuring high quality and professionalism.
- Mentor junior staff on customer engagement and change management techniques.
- Advise on project estimation and participate in business development activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Civil Engineering / Infrastructure, with a focus on digital design, engineering, and delivery solutions, preferably with Autodesk products.
- Proven excellence in strategic thinking, innovation, program management, change management, and communication.
- Experience facilitating customer workshops and driving decisions.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and structured project management.
- Excellent communication skills, including workshop facilitation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex topics for non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel 50%, including internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure design, engineering, construction, and management practices, especially in Water/Wastewater, Transportation, and Facility Management.
- Experience developing workflows between architects, engineers, contractors, and owners.
- Proficiency with Autodesk products such as BIM 360, Revit, Civil3D, Navisworks, Infraworks, etc.
- Experience in developing and maintaining a design and engineering solutions portfolio.
