Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an experienced Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance teams at Sandshell at Fossil Creek in Fort Worth, TX. You will lead, train, and coordinate daily maintenance operations and make-readies to maintain high resident satisfaction.

The role requires HVAC certification, a valid driver’s license, and willingness for on-call rotation. You’ll manage inventory, collaborate with the Property Manager on projects, and ensure safety and quality across all

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Stable work history.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Proven ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and guide maintenance staff during daily operations.
• Complete and oversee service requests with timely, high-quality results.
• Coordinate make-readies, upgrades, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all work orders and unit turns are completed efficiently.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Support the Property Manager on maintenance projects.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction standards.
