Job summary

Adara Communities in Plano, TX is seeking an Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, coach staff, and ensure timely service requests are completed to high quality standards.

You will coordinate make-readies, upgrades, and unit turns, participate in on-call rotations, manage tools and inventory, and support the Property Manager on maintenance initiatives while upholding safety and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a maintenance technician in multifamily housing.
• Valid HVAC certification required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and guide maintenance staff in daily operations.
• Oversee service requests to ensure timely, high-quality results.
• Coordinate make-readies, upgrades, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure work orders and unit turns are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Support the Property Manager on maintenance projects and initiatives.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.
