Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an experienced Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance teams at Sandshell at Fossil Creek in Fort Worth, TX. You will lead, train, and coordinate daily maintenance operations and make-readies to maintain high resident satisfaction.

The role requires HVAC certification, a valid driver’s license, and willingness for on-call rotation. You’ll manage inventory, collaborate with the Property Manager on projects, and ensure safety and quality across all

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Stable work history.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Proven ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

What You'll Do as an Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician:

• Stable work history
• A personal set of basic hand tools
• Proven ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time‑management skills
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation

• Important: Candidates must live within a 20‑mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment of the Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician:

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off‑site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
