Job summary

LiveNjoy Residential in Hurst, TX is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee property upkeep and lead a maintenance team. The role covers make-ready, preventative maintenance, and responding to service requests across apartment units.

The position requires 4+ years in lead maintenance, CPO/EPA certifications, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. A bilingual candidate is a plus; weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as Lead Maintenance or related role.
• CPO and EPA certified.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Customer service experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
• Must be flexible and dependable.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff, prepare weekly maintenance schedules, and allocate work to appropriate team members.
• Prioritize and manage multiple work orders or service requests daily.
• Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units.
• Coordinate, schedule, and perform all make ready in a timely manner.
• Coordinate, schedule, and perform safety and skills training for maintenance employees.
• Inspect property daily to identify problems and maintenance needs.
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment and replenish as needed.
• Repair/replace major appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, washers, dryers).
• Inspect and repair HVAC systems and perform preventative maintenance.
• Inspect and repair interior plumbing (kitchen, bathroom, water heaters).
• Maintain pool systems and chemical levels.
• Perform minor electrical repairs and light fixture replacements.
• Paint and repair sheetrock as needed.
• Contribute to maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
• Perform other duties assigned.
