Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced analog/mixed‑signal IC design engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of high‑performance circuits for RF payloads and terminals. You will collaborate with system architects to define requirements and oversee layout, verification, and tape-out processes.

The role requires strong expertise in data converters, layout‑dependent effects, and silicon debugging, with 5–10+ years of relevant experience and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven 5+ years in high‑performance analog/mixed‑signal IC design (Level III) or 7+ years (Senior) or 10+ years (Principal).
• Experience with data converters (ADCs/DACs).
• Proficiency in mixed‑mode and analog/RF modeling, simulation and verification.
• Deep understanding of layout effects and FinFET technologies.
• Extensive silicon characterization and debugging experience.
• US citizen or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and integration of advanced analog/mixed‑signal functions.
• Use Spectre and AMS flows to develop high‑performance circuits.
• Collaborate with system architects to define block-level requirements.
• Oversee layout, floorplanning, and verification for tape-out.
• Coordinate with validation and product engineers for bring‑up and production.
• Mentor junior engineers in analog design best practices.
