Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced analog/mixed-signal IC design engineer to lead development of high‑speed data converters, filters, amplifiers, and power-management blocks for advanced CMOS/SiGe processes.

You will drive layout coordination, verification, and collaboration with system architects to ensure robust tape-out, with quiet focus on performance and yield. Requires 5+ years experience; U.S. work eligibility and willingness to relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in high-performance analog/mixed-signal IC design (5+ years for Level III, 7+ for Senior, 10+ for Principal).
• Expertise in data converters (ADCs and DACs).
• Proficiency in modeling and verification using MATLAB, Spectre, SystemVerilog, and AMS.
• Understanding of electromigration and layout-dependent effects in FinFET technologies.
• Silicon characterization and debugging experience.
• Experience with analog/RF building blocks including amplifiers, filters, oscillators, reference generation and LDOs.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and integration of advanced analog/mixed-signal functions in CMOS and SiGe technologies.
• Utilize Spectre and AMS flows to develop high-performance mixed-signal circuits and systems.
• Collaborate with system architects to define block-level performance and interfaces for RF payloads and terminals.
• Oversee layout, top-level integration, floorplanning, and verification for tape-out cycles.
• Work with validation and product engineers to develop test plans, bring-up, optimize performance and ensure reliable production.
• Mentor junior engineers in best analog design practices.
