Job summary

Amentum seeks an Aircraft Mechanic II (UH-60 Quality Control Inspector) to inspect repairs and modifications on UH-60 airframes, engines and components. You will supervise inspections, apply FAA standards, and ensure quality and safety across maintenance tasks in a dynamic hangar environment.

Five years of maintenance experience and an active A&P with IA; NACI public trust is required. You will lead small teams, review discrepancies, and document corrective actions while supporting flight test

Qualifications

• Five years of recent aircraft maintenance experience.
• At least one year inspecting MDS aircraft assigned.
• FAA A&P license and IA (or equivalent) as required.
• Must maintain security clearance appropriate to work.
• Broad knowledge of FAA regulations, manuals and tech pubs.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose equipment faults.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts and supervises aircraft inspections.
• Inspects and evaluates repairs and modifications to aircraft structures and engines.
• Assesses maintenance of flight controls, hydraulics, fuels and mechanicals.
• Applies technical knowledge to diagnose malfunctions and restore condition.
• Leads small teams and provides oversight updates to leadership.
• Ensures compliance with safety, configuration control and calibration.
