Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to supervise and direct the work of AMTs, ensuring all tasks meet Breeze policies and FAA rules. The role requires strong leadership, FAA A&P credentials, and 5+ years in aviation maintenance.

You will coordinate with Maintenance Operations Control, maintain critical documentation, and uphold safety while travelling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current FAA A&P licence and recent experience on commercial aircraft.
• High school diploma; a degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance or Business is preferred.
• Willing to travel up to 20% and able to obtain SIDA badge per TSA requirements.
• 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assign, lead and direct work for AMTs under supervision.
• Ensure maintenance complies with Breeze GMM and company policies.
• Maintain documentation and close open discrepancies accurately.
• Communicate aircraft status with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC).
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and proper tooling.
• Notify supervisors of any airworthiness concerns.
