Job summary

Breeze Airways is hiring a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Charleston International Airport. You will assign and guide AMTs, ensure work aligns with Breeze policies and FAA regulations, and maintain airworthiness documentation. A&P licensed technicians with experience on commercial aircraft are preferred.

Expect to lead, mentor, and coordinate with MOC and maintenance leadership while ensuring safety and compliance on all tasks and inspections.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
• 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience on commercial aircraft.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft manuals and specs.
• Valid driver’s license and passport, with US work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, leads, and directs work of AMTs under supervision.
• Ensures maintenance work complies with the GMM and Breeze policies.
• Communicates aircraft status to MOC and documents actions.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness, and accountability for tools and parts.
• Keeps documentation current for discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Mentions any condition affecting airworthiness to leadership.
• Performs tasks and inspections with accuracy and on-time OJT entries.
