Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Charleston, SC to direct and approve AMT work in compliance with the Breeze GMM and procedures. The role involves coordinating with MOC, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining safety standards on the ramp and hangar.

Must possess a current FAA A&P certificate, have 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience on commercial aircraft, and be willing to travel up to 20% with shifts possibly including nights.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA A&P license with no infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft.
• 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience on commercial aircraft.
• Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test and TSA background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, leads, and directs the work of AMTs under supervision.
• Ensures work complies with the GMM and company policy.
• Communicates with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) with aircraft status.
• Complete Breeze forms on work assigned and performed.
• Maintain documentation for open discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and ensure tools are accounted for.
