Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to oversee and guide AMTs, ensuring maintenance is performed per Breeze policies and the GMM. The role requires supervising local station activities and coordinating with Maintenance Operations Control.

Ideal candidates hold an FAA A&P license, have 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience, and can travel up to 20%. A valid driver’s license and passport are required, with readiness for various shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft types.
• 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience maintaining commercial aircraft.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications.
• Must be willing to travel 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, leads, and directs the work of AMTs under supervision.
• Ensures maintenance work complies with Breeze GMM and policies.
• Communicates with Maintenance Operations Control about aircraft status.
• Complete all appropriate Breeze forms for work performed and inspections.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and operative work area and ensure tools are accounted for.
