Job summary

Breeze Airways is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT) to perform maintenance, run-ups, and sign mechanical flight releases in Charleston, SC. You will follow Breeze policies, ensure airworthiness, and work with the maintenance team to keep our fleet safe and compliant.

Qualified candidates hold an FAA A&P license, are fluent in English, and can travel up to 20%. The role requires supporting multiple shifts and maintaining paperwork and safety standards in a fast-growing airline

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a current FAA A&P license with no infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals/specs.
• Valid driver's license and passport.
• US work authorization; ability to travel ~20%.
• Able to pass a DOT drug test and TSA background checks.
• Must read/write/speak English; able to obtain SIDA badge.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance per Breeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
• Ensure work is complete and documented accurately.
• Process all required forms and paperwork for maintenance.
• Handle parts, units, and aircraft safely during repair work.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and account for tools.
• Keep documentation up to date and report discrepancies.
• Communicate with maintenance leadership about issues affecting airworthiness.
• Support maintenance leadership, MOC and DOM as needed.
