Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician at MSY (Louis Armstrong New Orleans International). You will lead AMTs, ensure maintenance complies with Breeze policies and the GMM, and report to the Line Maintenance Supervisor.

You must hold an FAA A&P license and have 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience on commercial aircraft, with willingness to work day/night shifts, overtime, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA A&P license current with no infractions.
• 5+ years aviation maintenance on commercial aircraft.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and specs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid passport with no travel restrictions.
• US work authorization.
• Willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Willing to travel ~20% of the time.
• DOT pre-employment drug test required.
• TSA fingerprint-based background check and Breeze check.
• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• SIDA badge eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, leads, and directs AMTs under supervision.
• Ensures work aligns with GMM and Breeze policies.
• Responsible for all work at the local station.
• Communicates with MOC on aircraft status.
• Completes Breeze forms for work and inspections.
• Handles parts, units, and aircraft during repair.
• Keeps documentation current on open discrepancies and corrections.
• Submits OJT Task Cards on time and accurately.
• Maintains safe, clean, and operative work area and tools.
• Notifies leadership of any airworthiness concerns.
• Maintains A&P or Repairman certificate for inspection.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
