Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, an FAA Airframe and Powerplant License, and 8+ years in aviation maintenance with 4+ years on program-specific airframes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License.
• Valid driver’s license and/or passport ideal but not mandatory.
• Aircraft-specific factory training is preferred.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred.
• 4+ years in program-specific airframes.
• Must perform all work in accordance with FAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to produce timely, high-quality results and guide day-to-day tasks.
• Implement a strong turnover of work to the next shift.
• Identify opportunities to reduce aircraft turn time within your area of responsibility.
• Train and mentor technicians assigned to your projects.
• Supervise team members in daily workload and ensure quality and safety.
• Work independently on projects and lead multiple projects with strong scheduling and initiative.
• Perform general mechanical work on aircraft and related systems, including panels, components, and sheet metal repairs.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate aircraft systems when designated.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components as needed.
• Manage aircraft movement, performance runs, and taxiing when required.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment, and tooling to support operations.
• Collaborate with customers in project management, pricing, and support roles.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
