West Star Aviation Inc. in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Gulfstream Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to lead a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality, on-time aircraft work and adherence to FAA guidelines.

The role requires strong problem-solving, hands-on leadership and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced hangar environment; A&P license and 8+ years aviation maintenance experience preferred, with 4+ years on program-specific airframes.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with A&P license.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred.
• 4+ years in program-specific airframes.
• Must be able to supervise and manage multiple projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead the team to complete necessary jobs/tasks with good judgment.
• Provide turnover of work to the next shift.
• Mentor and train technicians assigned to projects.
• Supervise team members in daily workload and ensure schedule adherence.
• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate aircraft systems when designated.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Coordinate projects and communicate with customers.
