West Star Aviation is seeking a Gulfstream Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Grand Junction, CO. You will lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality maintenance with strong problem-solving and technical focus.

The role emphasizes supervision, project flow management, and hands-on mechanical work on aircraft and systems, including wiring, panels, and components. FAA guidelines apply and safe, effective collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
• Aircraft specific factory training is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the team to complete jobs/tasks with good judgement and involve management when needed.
• Ensure smooth turnover of work to the next shift.
• Identify opportunities to reduce aircraft turn time within area of responsibility.
• Train/mentor technicians assigned to projects and supervise daily workload.
• Work independently on multiple projects with emphasis on schedule and quality.
• Perform general mechanical work on aircraft and related systems, including panels and components.
