Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Falcon Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the weekend shift in Grand Junction, CO. The role focuses on leading a team of technicians to deliver high-quality maintenance work under FAA guidelines.

The position requires extensive aviation maintenance experience, an A&P license, and the ability to work Friday–Sunday 6am–6:30pm with a shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred; 4+ years in program specific airframes.
• This position requires minimal supervision and will lead small groups in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to produce timely, high-quality results.
• Train and mentor technicians; supervise daily workload and project flow.
• Perform general aircraft mechanical work including panels, components and sheet metal.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate and inspect aircraft systems and components.
• Coordinate projects and communicate effectively in English.
