Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Bombardier Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift in Perryville, MO.

This on-site role leads a team of technicians to deliver high-quality maintenance, including planning, mentoring, and coordinating multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong aviation background with a valid A&P license, extensive maintenance experience, and demonstrated leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and A&P license are required.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred; 4+ years on program-specific airframes.
• Ability to lead a team, supervise daily operations, and coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete jobs with sound judgment and proper shift turnover.
• Train and mentor technicians; ensure work quality and on-time delivery.
• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems, including panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate aircraft systems and components as designated.
• Ensure FAA paperwork and work orders are completed accurately.
• Communicate effectively in English with customers and team members.
