Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Perryville, Missouri.

The role involves performing general mechanical tasks, panel/component removal and installation, troubleshooting, defueling, engine work, and operation of ground support equipment in a hangar environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and an Airframe or Powerplant license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0-2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2-4 for AMT II; 4-6+ for AMT III; 6+ for AMT IV.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components as needed.
• Troubleshoot and solve aircraft system issues.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist in maintenance.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
