West Star Aviation Inc. in East Alton, IL is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (1030 start). This full-time, on-site role supports maintenance, inspection, and repair of civilian aircraft with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will perform mechanical tasks, panel removal/installations, troubleshooting, and use ground support equipment. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required; FAA guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license preferred.
• AMT license levels (Airframe/Powerplant) required or preferred as per role.
• Experience ranges from 0–6+ years across AMT levels depending on position.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot aircraft system issues.
• Inspect and evaluate the aircraft and components.
• Operate ground support equipment.
