Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (1100 start) at Perryville, MO.

The role covers mechanical tasks, inspections, and troubleshooting on sophisticated civilian aircraft, with growth opportunities within a supportive team. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and an Airframe/Powerplant license, with 0–2 years experience for entry AMT levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2–4 years for AMT II; 4–6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft system issues.
• Defuel aircraft and assist with engine removal/installation.
• Operate ground support equipment as needed.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Assist in aircraft movement and performance runs.
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
