Job summary

West Star Aviation seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Perryville, MO. This on-site role covers a range of tasks from general mechanical work to troubleshooting aircraft systems and performing engine-related duties.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; more for higher levels.
• 2–4 years of experience preferred for AMT II; corporate aircraft experience a plus.
• 4–6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV with broader responsibilities.
• Must follow FAA guidelines and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove/install panels and components; troubleshoot system issues.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist in taxiing and performance runs.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities and tooling; read maintenance data bases.
• Communicate clearly in English and work under supervision as required.
