Job summary

Deloitte Technology US is seeking a Manager in AI Security Engineering to secure AI/ML deployments and enable rapid, responsible innovation. You will lead hands-on engineering, mentor teams, and ensure security, risk, and compliance expectations are met across AI systems.

In this role you will drive secure design, collaborate with product and risk teams, and uphold high standards for code quality and security while influencing engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, and/or AI/ML.
• Minimum 1 year of people and/or process management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, AI-enabled solutions with security-by-design principles.
• Lead hands-on AI security engineering and mentor engineers.
• Identify AI-specific vulnerabilities and implement safeguards.
• Integrate security into the SDLC, CI/CD, and MLOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, risk, and cybersecurity teams.
• Communicate risks and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Advance secure coding practices and patterns across teams.
