Job summary

Deloitte Technology US is hiring a Manager in AI Security Engineering to secure the development and deployment of AI/ML and GenAI solutions. You will lead hands-on security, trust, and resilience, guiding cross‑functional teams to innovate safely while protecting data, models, and systems.

In this role you will design secure AI architectures, mentor engineers, and champion DevSecOps practices across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, and/or including AI/ML, with hands‑on delivery experience
• Minimum 1 year of people and/or process management experience

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop AI-enabled solutions with embedded security controls.
• Contribute to architecture, design, and development of AI/ML systems with security controls.
• Identify and mitigate AI-specific vulnerabilities (prompt injection, data leakage, model manipulation).
• Lead technically as a trusted voice for secure AI engineering.
• Maintain high code quality, scalability, and security; promote secure coding practices.
• Enable rapid innovation with security guardrails and risk-aware development.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, cybersecurity, and risk teams to embed AI security.
• Help evolve standards for AI security (data protection, access control, monitoring) in DevSecOps/MLOps.
• Communicate risks and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
