Job summary

Deloitte Technology US (DT - US) is seeking a Manager in AI Security Engineering to secure AI/ML and GenAI deployments across high-visibility initiatives. You will lead hands-on security, design secure, scalable AI systems, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, cybersecurity, and risk teams to protect data and models.

You will champion secure coding practices, integrate security into DevSecOps and MLOps, and drive responsible innovation with risk-aware governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, and/or AI/ML with hands-on delivery.
• Minimum 1 year of people and/or process management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design secure AI-enabled solutions balancing value and risk.
• Lead architecture and development of AI/ML systems with security controls.
• Identify and mitigate AI-specific vulnerabilities (prompt injection, data exposure).
• Serve as a trusted technical voice for secure AI engineering and align with business goals.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, scalability, and security; promote secure patterns.
• Support rapid experimentation with security guardrails and risk-aware development.
