Job summary

Deloitte Technology US seeks a Manager in AI Security Engineering to secure AI/ML and GenAI initiatives. You will lead secure design across SDLC, integrate security into CI/CD and MLOps, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and risk teams to reduce enterprise risk and enable trusted AI adoption.

The role requires 6+ years in software/cybersecurity with hands-on AI experience, and a strong grasp of security architecture, cloud platforms, and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, and/or including AI/ML, with hands-on delivery experience
• Minimum 1 year of people and/or process management experience

Responsibilities

• Secure, Outcome-Driven Delivery: design and deliver AI-enabled solutions that are secure by design and balance value with risk
• Hands-On AI Security Engineering: contribute to architecture, design and development of AI/ML and GenAI systems with embedded security controls
• AI Risk Identification and Mitigation: address vulnerabilities like prompt injection and data exposure
• Technical Leadership and Advocacy: act as trusted technical voice for secure AI engineering
• Engineering Excellence with Security Focus: maintain code quality, scalability, and security
• Iterative and Responsible Innovation: enable rapid experimentation with guardrails
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with product, engineering, cybersecurity, and risk teams
• Standards and Best Practices: evolve AI security standards including data protection and access control
