Job summary

You will mentor engineers, partner with security, architecture, and product teams, and push automation, self-service, and IaC to improve platform delivery. Occasional travel to local offices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision, technical strategy, and execution of DBaaS across traditional databases and cloud-native capabilities.
• Serve as a hands-on technical leader for database architecture, modernization, and delivery.
• Drive stabilization and modernization of SQL Server and Oracle platforms.
• Advance IaC, APIs, automation, and self-service to improve delivery and operational efficiency.
• Help define next-generation database capabilities enabling AI, analytics, and enterprise priorities.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, security, product, and senior leaders to align investments with priorities.
• Influence key technology decisions across senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Establish metrics for reliability, automation adoption, and developer experience.
