Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. seeks a senior leader to develop and drive the Source-to-Pay (S2P) strategy, leading the S2P systems team and shaping AI-enabled procurement at Nordstrom.

You will manage Coupa, guide AI use cases and ensure robust controls across sourcing, contracting and payments. You will collaborate with Finance, Technology, Legal and Product to align priorities, oversee change management, and deliver meaningful procurement metrics and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, engineering, supply chain, technology, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
• Eight (8) years of experience in procurement operations or procurement technology with S2P transformation in high-growth environments.
• Functional ownership experience with S2P/ procure-to-pay software like Coupa (preferred), Workday, SAP, Ariba or similar.
• Experience applying or piloting AI or automation in a source-to-pay system with a practical view of human oversight.
• Experience leading and developing technical teams (system admins, business systems analysts).
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional adoption of change.
• Strong procurement knowledge and control frameworks; contracting processes exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and implement the multi-year S2P strategy and roadmap.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of S2P system administrators.
• Own the Coupa S2P platform including roadmaps, releases, configuration and AI capabilities.
• Identify AI/automation use cases across S2P and guide tech and admins.
• Advise VP-level partners and align priorities across the enterprise.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Legal, Product and Finance to improve S2P while ensuring controls.
• Set prioritization for system requests and provide procedural guidance to partners.
• Lead change management, including communication and training for adoption.
• Develop reporting and insights on procurement metrics.
• Evaluate emerging S2P/AI tech and advise build/buy/partner decisions.
• Own controls for the S2P system and process.
