Job summary

RadarFirst is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer, AI & DevSecOps Engineer to lead the next stage of cloud, security, reliability, and AI operations maturity. This hands-on role owns platforms, practices, and operating model enabling engineers to build, deploy, monitor, and secure production SaaS systems and agentic AI capabilities.

The position can be based in Portland, OR or remote from anywhere in the U.S., requiring strong DevSecOps, platform engineering, and AWS experience with governance,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, platform engineering, or related role.
• Proven track record designing and operating production AWS infrastructure for SaaS or enterprise software.
• Experience leading technical strategy and mentoring engineers.
• Strong hands-on with IaC, CI/CD, containerization, scripting, and automation.
• Experience with AWS services: EC2, ECS, IAM, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, OpenSearch.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve DevSecOps, platform engineering, and AI operations roadmap.
• Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure for SaaS/AI workloads.
• Implement automation to reduce manual deployment and monitoring work.
• Monitor platform KPIs including cost, latency, error rates, and deployment frequency.
• Lead incident response and security governance across cloud infrastructure.
