Job summary

PhoenixTeam is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to own DevSecOps for a federal modernization effort. You will design and run CI/CD across multiple stacks, automate environments as code, and enforce security gates within federal constraints.

We expect hands-on leadership in AI-enabled workflows, incident management, and reducing toil through automation while maintaining strict compliance. Fully remote, U.S.-based, with federal delivery.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on DevSecOps and platform engineering across multiple stacks.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD, IaC, and deployment automation in production.
• Familiarity with security controls and vulnerability remediation in federal environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the DevSecOps and platform engineering ecosystem for modernization efforts.
• Lead CI/CD, automated testing, and zero-downtime deployments across legacy and cloud platforms.
• Architect environment provisioning as code and AI-enabled capabilities to reduce manual toil.
